1973 D Special Brun Scarabée with tabac vinyl 4 spd. with 36841 original kms.. Nice, clean, solid car that runs strong, handles nicely and has good operational hydraulics with a couple of small drips. Needs body work/paint. Has new battery, Michelin tires on the front, good older tires on the back and spare. Has electronic ignition upgrade and the radiator has been recored. The interior is excellent with no tears on the plush vinyl seats and good original floor carpet. There is a small tear on the right rear cloth door card. Has original french plates and fully operational turning head lights. Originally from La Rochelle, it was sold in 2000 to and imported by Citroen Concourse of American then to the Bay Area where I purchased it in Santa Rosa in 2013. When I bought it, it had a damaged front left wing and hood which have been replaced. Because of this it has a rebuilt title. It also had a small amount of through rust on the right water dam at the bonnet which has been replaced but still missing a rubber piece. Needs wiper blades and the pneumatic window washer fluid sprayer is inoperable. The steering wheel was replaced with a new one because of deteriorated foam and has a new ignition switch and key. Otherwise everything’s original. Work was done by a reputable Citroen mechanic. Located in Winters, CA. Thanks!
